DW Drum's Classic series is designed to authentically replicate the drums of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, It is featured with a Poplar/Mahogany shell with oversized all-maple reinforcement hoops and a soft “butter” bearing edge for a dark, punchy tone. Their goal with Classics was to craft a road-worthy kit with all of today’s professional features. But it depends on one's nature of playing drums and what kind of drum they desire.
